The piano has always been a part of Nancy’s life. She studied music, drama and music pedagogy extensively. For 18 years, she had her own studio, where she taught courses in keyboard and music theory. Her active and ongoing fitness regime includes exercise, bike riding and walking or hiking in the Sandia Mountains near her home. She’s also proven to be a very sharp businesswoman. When their children were grown and she and husband Wayne moved to New Mexico, they ran a successful company providing solar heating systems for swimming pools. They subsequently sold it and began investing in real estate, buying fixer-uppers, remodeling them and selling, renting or offering them for lease-purchase.
